Snap aligners was founded in Edinburgh in 2023 by a local dentist. It was built out of a desire to bring quality and connection back to orthodontic care, Snap Aligners is proudly local—and proudly independent.
Our mission is simple: to support clinicians in delivering effective, predictable treatment, while helping patients achieve the confident smiles they’ve always wanted.

All packages include planning, aligner case, branded bag, 1 refinement sequence (same as the original number in the package) and 1 set of retainers.
For patients
FAQ's
How often should I wear them?
Wear time is 22hrs per day, anything less than this and your teeth will struggle to move. When not wearing your aligners, place them in the case provided.
Will they hurt?
You will experience some discomfort when wearing the aligner – this is natural. The discomfort will ease over your wear time for each aligner then increase again when a new aligner is inserted.
What about my speech?
You may lisp or notice a slight difference in your speech initially, this will lessen with time. You may produce more saliva as a response to having the aligner in, this should lessen in 24-48 hours.
Can I eat and drink as normal?
Remove for eating and brushing. Drink only water with them in.
What happens when I clean my teeth?
Brush your teeth after your have eaten, before you put the aligners back in. If you cannot brush then rinse with water or mouthwash before putting them back in.
How do I clean them?
Use a toothbrush and toothpaste. You can also use aligner cleaning tablets e.g. RetainerBrite®
What if I loose my aligners?
If you lose your current aligner, please put in the next one in the sequence and contact your Dentist.
Training courses
- Training and onboarding can be arranged free of charge
- We complete this in house and provide CPD
- This is primarily aimed at those with limited or no experience in clear aligner treatments
